About Us

NPH is a non-profit organization governed by a community-based Board of Directors and is a member of Ontario Non-Profit Housing Association and the Institute of Housing Management.

Our Mission Statement

Our mission is to create, nurture and serve vibrant and diverse communities. We empower people within communities to help themselves through a process of training, planning and evaluation.

Qualifications

• Over 25 years experience in housing development and property management
• A well trained and experienced staff in all aspects of the services NPH provides
• Experience in accommodating groups with special needs
  (e.g. women, First Nations, single parents, seniors and families)
• Experience in providing housing for rent-geared-to-income households
• Expertise in financial management
• Instructors certified by the Co-operative Housing Federation of Canada
• Conflict Resolution - group and individual
• Expertise in Community Development
• Expertise in Community Economic Development
• NPH carries full liability insurance and errors and omissions insurance
• Staff on site are bonded and covered by Workers Compensation
• All staff have access to our group benefit plan
