Niagara Food Innovations / Niagara Presents - Established in 1999

NPH developed this facility located in Beamsville. It is recognized as a model in the Social Enterprise Movement. It is home to:

• a commercial kitchen, the first of it’s kind in Canada
• a retail outlet
• Gift Basket production
• The Niagara Presents Food Label
• A co-packing facility providing co-packing services to many small and mid-sized firms in Ontario

NFI is a manufacturing base for gourmet high end preserves made of produce grown in Niagara. The goal of NFI is to provide technical and manufacturing support to local growers, women home based entrepreneurs focussing on developing and marketing high end gourmet foods made of produce grown in Niagara. The Best of Niagara Gift Baskets are available to all our clients at a discounted rate. They make great fundraisers and gifts. A portion of these gift basket sales at Christmas go to support the work of Niagara Women's Enterprise Centre.

NPH has received several awards for its work to develop NFI and Niagara Presents. The CCA Ontario Region - Award of Excellence in CED; the Ontario Rural Council Award of Excellence in CED. NFI has received several awards at the Canadian Fine Food Show for various products, the gift baskets and a packaging award for its three packs.
