Capital Repair Services

NPH has submitted and successfully secured capital funding for over 10 clients under SHRRP funding. These business cases are designed to address serious building and design issues focusing in part on greening buildings.

Our services include:

• preliminary repair analysis
• selection of consultants, including architects and engineers
• remedial repair design
• energy and water retrofitting
• business case development and funding approvals
• built tenders
• project management
• coordination with subcontractors and consultants
• 5 year capital planning
• liaison with Service Manager and coordination of energy audits

Team E.N.E.R.G.I.

The Capital Repair Program provided an opportunity to link NPH clients with Team E.N.E.R.G.I., a Youth work experience program, to complete the energy and water retrofits. Click here to read more about this program.

The first pilot was Meadowgreen Co-op. Energy, water and air quality retrofits were completed on 90 units, including:

• addition of HRV (Heat Recovery Ventilation Systems)
• improvement of bathroom fans and timers
• installation of low-flush toilets
• programmable thermostats
• general air sealing and installation
• window and door installations
• project management of furnace of window, furnace installers
