Project in Difficulty Services
NPH staff have been approached by housing boards, Service Managers, The Agency for Housing Co-Ops, and CMHC to assist in the resolution of serious issues some housing boards are facing, such as:
- Conflict
- Financial crisis
- Absence of staff
- High arrears, etc.
These services are negotiated on an as-needed basis, and can include:
- Arrears management and implementation
- Operational review report and implementation
- Financial system review and implementation of changes
- Conflict of interest guideline review and recommendations
- Tenant/member conflict resolution
- Board conflict resolution
- Provide on going support to the Board and make recommendations re: changes needed to the Board of Directors
